Honestly I don't think the idea of an European Superleague is that bad of a idea, as we are allready playing a Saturday and midweek cycle, but the teams have to qualify for it year after year and not be untouchable members ! I am a fan of Bayern Munich, but if they don't manage to get under the top four at the end of a season, then why should they have the right to play in the Champions League if they are not the defending champion,let alone be an untouchable member of a Superleague ? I as a fan want that my team has to fight to reach those goals and not that they are guaranteed sucess from the very beginning! That has nothing to do with sport ! Imagine the FIA saying to Hamilton and Verstappen they do no longer need to qualify for the top 10 shootout as they allready would be guaranteed a place under the top 10. Neither Verstappen nor Hamilton would go along with that, because they are sportsmen and love the competition ! If they had gotten away with this, what would have been next ?
