My father was a physician who worked with General Patton on brave men such as these. Veterans are an untapped resource that we often overlook, being sympathetic when what they want is a chance to contribute, not to be a charity case.

Talk about the right stuff. I guess after some of the things these men did on the daily in the service, blasting around in a race car is just fun. Thanks for the look into this exciting program for Vets. 👍

"Home of the Free - Because of the Brave" My father was a sniper in WW11 for the Canadian Army, and like most of the soldiers from USA and Canada he was just a boy (16 years old when he signed up), and little did he know that he would never be the same again. He was shot on 2 separate occasions - had the silver dollar purple scars displayed like tattoos to prove it. When the War was over they returned to society, and many (like my father) turned to alcohol for comfort. There were no organizations like this - no self help groups - no-one knew what PTSD even was. From the bottom of my heart I thank every man, woman, and child that has made the tremendous, and ultimate, sacrifices that have enabled me to have a wonderful life - I am forever in your debt. (A 64 year old Canadian gentleman)
